Backslash
Music, cookies, dishwasher, Ireland and other random words hopefully stringing together to make a sentence. Maybe it's a spin-off from the DAndy Lie-in because Andrew never let me press any buttons... who knows? Eventually I'll find out but hoping to have lots of guests on some you'll know and some you wont. At times I think I mightn't know either but hopefully it'll be humorous enough to merit a show.
Old Fridges Can Kill
A collection of obscurities, netlabel offerings and vinyl trash. Old Fridges Can Kill aims to bring you quality Creative Commons music (because the good things in life CAN be free), overlooked gems and the occasional noise you never knew you never wanted to hear, all in good fun. This show is the only place you'll hear some of these tunes, such is their scarcity. You'll never know until you try.

URY Lunch with Will and Joe
Join Will and Joe for some energetic lunchtime radio with a variety of guests. We try to stay away from today's chart music because everyone hears that all the time: when you go out, on your friend's laptop, whilst you are cooking... So we have tried to spice things up by playing popular tunes that have not been played recently, but we pop in a few alternatives for a twist in the tale.
Alumni Radio: The Scottish Invasion
Join current alumnus Donald Makin and (soon to be) alumnus William Chalk for some up and coming Scottish music. Because we can.
No Ducks Given

So named because of our wonderful neighbours on campus, we wouldn't want them gone! Just a bit of chatter and whatever music sounds good that week; rock, pop, or anything in between as long as it catches the ear and gets you moving!

Untitled

A show without a name, because there is no theme or specific genre that we will be following.

It will be unique every week, with a variety of guests that have excellent music taste.

Super Bowl XLIX

Join URY's incredibly accurate and informed coverage of 2015's Super Bowl. Most of that sentence is a lie because we know nothing about American Football.

URY:PM - The "What is the character limit for these show names anyhow? Is there one? Perhaps there should be one? I mean, this one is really stretching out the schedule table. And still it continues. Surely nobody will ever need a show name to be this long?" Show, the Absolute Last No-More-After-This Complete and Utter Final Show of All Time (Perhaps?!?!) of Eiron Page (with Naomi Gildert, Who - We Hope - Has Many More Shows to Come)

We break the schedule layout to bring you one last show from former programme controller Eiron Page, and pass the baton by way of radio to the new programme controller - Naomi - and also play some music, ostensibly chosen by you. The PM show Eiron always meant to do, but never did; because leaving things to the last minute is how he do.

*** The only show on URY to double as a bug report!™

URY Brunch: With Peter and Cat

We'll be waking you up (because let's be honest, who's awake before 11 anyway?) to the best tunes and chat. Let the mayhem begin.

URY:PM - No Ducks Given

So named because of our wonderful neighbours on campus! Join Luke Guinan and Georgie Norgate every week for chat, tunes and fun features - including some interesting forfeits!

Why Not?

Music and conversation with Bethany and Patrick. We can talk about anything and everything because Why not?

Pop Rocks

I've named my show Pop Rocks because I have a mixed taste in music, I have a love for any kind of rock, indie, metal, classic to any kind of pop we're talking cheesy 90's all the way up to nowdays' charts. If you have an equally mixed love for these genres then i'd suggest giving my show a listen! And for you Green Day lovers! - pop rocks and coke?

With that said if you're planning to give my show a listen expect variety!

The Groove

Lets get into the groove... Prepare for the best from the realms of Funk, Jazz, R&B & Indie/Electronic music.

The following show is accompanied by 'fortissimo' which is mainly centered around rock, grunge, rap.

BAFTA 2018 Live

Who will win? Who will live the life of second best? All secrets revealed as we commentate BAFTA ceremony live on URY - it is so much better than just watching it on telly, because you get comments on dresses, films, and current affairs, all for free!

Cheesoid

Possibly insightful and entertaining conversation with possibly listenable music from Rosemary and George. We realised we had no social lives to speak of and thought radio would be a fun idea because at least we can hide in a confined room for an hour that isn't one of our own bedrooms.

Forenoon Fire Up!

Does your morning leave you feeling frazzled? Does it feel more like a Fried-day?

Now back on with the best of my recommendations and the worst of my on-air radio voice (because yes, I'm just as fried as you are).
