University Radio York's flagship Sunday morning show. (for a small amount of time)
I played some quiet jazzy songs.
But I got bored of the idea when I realised that having the Sunday morning slot wasn't very impressive even if it was quite funny.
And also I was half awake.
Very nice life experience being forced to talk into a microphone in an empty room :)
I should probably listen back to these to make sure these audio clips don't cancel me but... for the most part, I trust that my that my younger self wouldn't get cancelled.
Feel free to listen back to these shows but I warn you- they're bad.
The end of the uni year is nigh, and as such, so is the end of a few URY Careers. Yes, it's time to get ready to move on from uni and into the real world, while of course staying at a respectful two metre distance. Join us as we reminisce about the last few years, and close off the academic year with a bang! (Hopefully not from Stores...)
It's that time of the year again - there'll be one stall giving out bags for some reason, so make sure you grab the bag for all the other random freebies you get from stalls you pretend to be interested in just to get the pens.
Freshers' Fair 2021 is nearly upon us - join me as we build up to it with some great music and chat!
Welcome to Friday afternoon, where I'll be playing you some stuff that I've been listening to, or just felt like as the week comes towards an end.

Who says Rock 'N' Roll is dead? Bringing back all of the classics from the 50s - contemporary rocking and rolling style with artists ranging from hip shaking Elvis to still jamming Mick Jagger. These awesome beats will have you off you twisting and shouting or banging your head as pirate radio rocked the world during the 60s.
The show invites members of academic staff to discuss everything between their speciality to favourite tea! Guests will also get the opportunity to choose records that they listened to when they were students and participate in quizzes on their own subject as well as ones they may not be so familar with...
URY’s established experts of dry wit and nattering sit down to discuss where the cards lie after the country’s first “virtual” A-Level results day. Expect irreverent giggling, massive amounts of ‘closet’ jokes and guest appearances from anyone who can guess the comically bad password to their meeting room.
This results day from 7 am to midnight, URY will be broadcasting LIVE coverage as people receive their A-Level results across the country. With fresh content specifically aimed at the University of York's offer holders and those on the clearing lines, tune in for a day of top (available) presenters giving you the true York experience.... or Yor-xperience... (don't worry, you'll get used to all the “Yor-” puns)
WARNING! Incredible amounts of banter are present

A topical comic talkshow in which we discuss our campus encounters and other funny stories interspersed with the occasional song of our choice relevant to that which we discuss. Similar to the Ricky Gervais show and Richard Herring's 'As It Occurs to Me'. Genre: we're still trying to figure it out, although we think it's on for a winner.
