[They approach the village of Helgen. A soldier calls out to the lead wagon.] Imperial Soldier: General Tullius, sir! The headsman is waiting! General Tullius: Good. Let's get this over with. Lokir: Shor, Mara, Dibella, Kynareth, Akatosh. Divines, please help me. Ralof: Look at him, General Tullius the Military Governor. And it looks like the Thalmor are with him. Damn elves. I bet they had something to do with this. This is Helgen. I used to be sweet on a girl from here. Wonder if Vilod is still making that mead with juniper berries mixed in. Funny...when I was a boy, Imperial walls and towers used to make me feel so safe. [A man and son watch the prisoners pull into town.] Haming: Who are they, daddy? Where are they going? Torolf: You need to go inside, little cub. Haming: Why? I want to watch the soldiers. Torolf: Inside the house. Now. [The wagon stops near the chopping block.] Imperial Soldier: Whoa. Mike and Dvaid, being two retreads back for the weekend, attempt to relive their URY youth by digging old stuff out of the URY record librray. Anything could happen once we find the Chicken Song on 7" vinyl.
The strange show of secret stories continues with it's new title and new lease of life. Once the strange show of serendipity now confirmed the project. But who is running it? What's the end goal? The Big Sofa graced the York Uni airwaves all the way back in 2001, when Rach was a psychology undergrad living in a breezeblock prison called Goodricke C Block.
Since then Rach has graduated (hurray! They said it would never happen!), moved away (now living in Mordor (Morden), London), worked three different jobs (evil corporate advertising; bonkers Virgin Radio; the BBC), birthed three kids (two boys, one girl), become a stand up comedian (three years in, still haven't done Live at the Apollo) and QUIT RADIO (sob.)
This last one makes her incredibly sad.

It's starting to dawn on me... what a terrible idea doing a bumper 2 hour breakfast show is. If you do happen to be awake, you probably have something better to be doing anyway, but on the off chance you don't, why not listen to this?
