URY x DnPsoc: The Phodcast

Daniel Howell and Phil Lester are a pair of British YouTubers active since 2009 who have had a cultural impact on a generation of young people, especially in a queer demographic. Alongside creating a variety of ‘storytime’, gaming, podcasting and other content, the duo have completed multiple global tours, released 3 books, and even hosted their own radio show on BBC Radio 1 in 2013.

In this URY podcast, Sunny speaks to members of the University of York’s Dan and Phil society about what the couple means to them, their influence and impact on individuals and wider communities, and experiences and memories based around Dan and Phil.
