A mix of good music, chat, quizzes and a fun look back at the University's scientific history. To celebrate the Physics department's 50th!
Amy’s Curiosity Carousel is the radio show for people who can’t throw things away because what if they’re important later?
It’s a welcoming space for heart-headed hoarders, weird girls with tote bags full of inexplicable objects, and fandom-frenzied freaks who know that emotional-support trinkets aren’t “just junk,” but intricate keys to canon, and proudly headcanoned, lore.
Each episode revolves around a playful theme (like lucky charms, seasonal souvenirs, or obscure oddities). Amy shares her own curiosities, invites listeners to submit and discuss their most beloved items, and weaves in thematically related songs and artists along the way. The show celebrates thrift-store goblins, micro-collections, hyperfixations, internet obsessions, and that one tiny object you keep in your pocket just in case.
Expect silly games, dramatic object backstories, nostalgic spirals, chaotic joy, and music that feels like your inner monologue finally got a soundtrack.
If you’ve ever said:
“I’ll use this someday”
“This reminds me of a character”
“This song feels like a trinket”
“No, I can’t explain it - it just belongs to me”
…Then this is the show for you!

Welcome to Old Soul! This show features all the music I (Kiera) love — my fave oldies, pop music and songs I grew up listening to. If you've ever been told that your taste in music lives in the past, this show is for you!
Join me for some great tunes, with a bit of gossip about life and pop culture along the way <3
Two feel-good hours of Josh playing some fantastic music as well him going off on stories about his various encounters with York's territorial wildlife, pathetically terrifying experiences on his bike and arguably informative features, how could you not listen?
The double agent himself is back (They just can't get rid of me)! Coming to you live from the Liverpool Guild of Students in a studio kindly loaned out by Liverpool Guild Student Media. They're not on air right now but never let something so trival as technical difficulties™ get in the way of good radio and what better place to go than my old stomping gound at URY.
A show devoted to the finding of good quality, free music from the website bandcamp. If you enjoy music, but have little money and a clean consience then this is the show for you. After each show i will post the links to find each song i play, and the album it came from, completely free.

Bringing you a random selection of whatever tunes fall out of Matthew's metaphorical music album this week.
It's like URY Jukebox, but different.
Expect the good, bad and the ugly... If you like even one song, success!
A show dedicated to all things synthwave, the breakout electronic genre featuring old-school synths inspired by the pop hits and movie soundtracks of the 1980's. James and Bernie will drive you through the night across the genre's expansive indie scene, with the occasional genuine retro hit for good measure. If you're a fan of contemporary styles and still wish we used cassettes, then this is the show for you!
It's showtime! Join me on a musical journey to the West End, Broadway and beyond. From old favourites to modern masterpieces, there really is something for everyone! So dust off your jazz shoes, warm up your voice and get ready to dance and sing along to some of the best songs from the stage and screen.
We ask our guests parents to create a list of 10 songs from 10 artists of their favourite stuff and then review it! Due to parents' eclectic taste, this will usually vary massively across the whole show in which we will talk alongside this about the music and the memories associated for the guest or just memories about the parents, good or bad.
