"That's What She Said" is URY's alternative woman's hour, brought to you by the YUSU women's network. We talk feminism, play great music to celebrate female musicians and bring you the latest news from the world of women's issues. Want to join the conversation? Chat to us on twitter using #shesaidURY
A show by a fangirl, for fangirls! combining stories of feminist activism, pop culture and music; Fangirl Feels is about how great Fangirls are, and the music they [I] enjoy! Get ready to fall in love with One Direction.... [I promise I wont only play One Direction......]
this show is dedicated to discussing mental illness, the sane gaze, the limits of destigmatisation and how ableism and madphobia intersect with other oppressions. (with the occasional dance break!)
This show will predominantly focus on feminism/equal rights and deal with a different women's issue/equal rights issue every week. For example, one week we may discuss the crazy cat lady phenomenon and another might discuss the "feminism is extreme" assumption. We are hoping to incorporate issues that women face around the world also. All kinds of genres of music will be played, not necessarily relating to the topic for the week but just music that we want to share with listeners.
Sarah and Scarlet discuss all things feminism from periods to sports and all things in between
Featuring a variety of guests, it's your ultimate guide to modern day feminism!
