A fun laid back show playing a combination of current chart hits and new music (from both new and already established artists) with a few segments - hopefully :D
Join the motley radio crew as they procrastinate turning off URY's transmiter for Christmas.
A new term, a new schedule, a new show. From the people who brought you Just Turn it Off Already comes the exciting new chapter to the book ending of terms. Let's all get super turned on and talk about what's going on in the wonderful world of wURY in the term to come.
Are you flagging already? Join Alex Kneller as he gives you a percolating concoction of great music and chatter to get you through the rest of the week!
Get ready for some proper serious tuneage!
Ever felt a connection to a song? Want tunes experimental, classic or sometimes long? Or do 'deep cuts' let you relax? Or simply want to find the right track to change a lightbulb to (you heard right)?!
We're all about finding music we hope you find great.
Join us every week to delve into the depths behind some quality music, listen to some worthy (or questionable...) anecdotes, and share your opinions and tastes with us too!
So - kick back after your Sunday roast, get that open fire crackling in the background and tune in to If You've Heard This, It's Already Too Late!

Join us live from Greg's Place as we end this term of radio with a bang!
It's the end of term one here at york and Christmas is right around the corner, and our Ofcom regulated broadcast hours.
Join us as we gather around the proverbial yuletide log and enjoy an evening of fun and games as we, the fine people of URY, get together for one last blast of Crimbo merriment and questionable radio content.
So come along, get festive, and enjoy while The Man (read as 'Ofcom') tries to (read as 'tells us to') shut us down (read as 'not broadcast outside our allowed period')

Join the motley radio crew as they procrastinate turning off URY's transmiter for Easter, by playing a bunch of fun and silly games!
The end of the uni year is nigh, and as such, so is the end of a few URY Careers. Yes, it's time to get ready to move on from uni and into the real world, while of course staying at a respectful two metre distance. Join us as we reminisce about the last few years, and close off the academic year with a bang! (Hopefully not from Stores...)

Term 1 has flown by and we haven't done enough radio! So we're cramming this in at the last minute (much like all of our coursework).
Christmas is indeed nearly upon us and you may already be bored to death of the same old Christmas pop songs in the supermarket, but never fear, we're here to bring you some of the more unusual, fun, and just darn weird Christmassy music available to us.

As the academic year twenty-twenty-twenty-twenty-one draws to a merciful close, join alumnus Mike Bond as he reminisces about what things were like in His Day. Including highlights from his 24 Hour Marathon show from 1987 when URY was still in mono and played vinyl records. See? He's off already.

You might think we've already turned the transmitter on, considering we made a big song and dance about it at the start of the month, and have been doing shows from the Move-In Days over the weekend. Well, you'd be correct - but we have more than one transmitter now, so there's still one big (small) red (silver?) button (key) to push (turn)! Come and join us as we celebrate broadcasting on AM for the 53rd year running!
From (semi) serious discussion about topical cricket news and debates of the day, to chat and quizzes with guests who don't know their silly point from their cow corner, this light hearted, medium paced, one hour chat show takes the covers off and sweeps absolutely anything to do with our weird and wonderful sport. We will also complile the ulitmate dream cricket tea across the series. If you're already a badger, then you're at home. If not, then hopefully you will be soon.
Another term, another turn-off! This time, we'll be sending off 2021 in ""style"" by using a bunch of segments that we came up with in a workshop earlier in the week. It's sure to be... Something.
Another term has come to an end, tune in to listen to us celebrate the end of another fantastic term of radio-making!
