Hey! I'm Matt (although I respond to Matthew and Matty, and have been called much worse), and I'm the Head of Sport at URY. I'm a second year Film and TV Production student who, funnily enough, has a keen interest in sports.
I've done quite a lot of radio in my relatively short time here. I've produced at Roses 2024, presented Election Results Night and Carols at the Minster, delved into interviewing with Save Six Songs and screamed at the top of my lungs on Matty's Metal. I've toed the line with Ofcom too many times to count, told people to wear coats on Newshour, given the Programme Controller a heart attack (not in the literal sense), been thrown out of Flares, bullied my co-host on College Sport Catch Up, defected to YSTV, broken the studio, fixed the studio, won 3 URYA's, and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat because I love it.
