Every week, Matt and Ollie trawl through the lives of some of music's greatest recording artists, both new and old, to find out what makes them tick. The writers of the classic guitar riff, the delicate jazz piano, or the catchy pop chorus gain new life as you rediscover them with the guys.

I probably won't be awake for this show. That's okay though, I'm hopefully using the time to test our automatic playout software. :)
A guide through music for looking inwards on yourself. Close your eyes and join me for an hour. I'll say some words, I'll play some sounds or songs, and we'll hopefully all feel a little better at the end of it <3

Back in the early 2000s, DAB services were struggling to launch across the UK. Spare capacity on the Muxes had to be filled with something... So... It was filled with the best radio station ever to be broadcast in the UK. With a cultlike following, "Birdsong", the looped recording of birds singing gaily was recorded in the garden of then Digital One chairman Quentin Howard. It achieved a cult following from people who found it much more interesting to listen to than Jazz FM.
I can't play you that recording... Because I don't own the copyright and can't be bothered to email someone to get it. What I can do, is every Wednesday morning for 2 hours, set up my microphones in a wood, park or centre of town and well... Send you live audio of... That... You could just open a window... But get real here... You're not going to do that are you....

Tune in for an hour of gorgeous genreless noise that is sure to delight your ears!
Let's explore vintage music from around the world on Sun-Dried Sundries! Each week I'll play a collection of incredible tunes, as well as discuss the intriguing stories that surround them. With a focus on older recordings, I hope to shed some light on obscure artists and their respective genres.
