James Brookes gives you the best start to the weekend. A light hearted look at the morning papers, fascinating facts and the latest new music.
University Radio York's flagship Sunday morning show. (for a small amount of time)
I played some quiet jazzy songs.
But I got bored of the idea when I realised that having the Sunday morning slot wasn't very impressive even if it was quite funny.
And also I was half awake.
Very nice life experience being forced to talk into a microphone in an empty room :)
I should probably listen back to these to make sure these audio clips don't cancel me but... for the most part, I trust that my that my younger self wouldn't get cancelled.
Feel free to listen back to these shows but I warn you- they're bad.

What on earth is going on in the world? It's a fair question. Join Eloise as she tries to figure it out, with a hour-long news round up of all the UK and international political stories bracing the headlines. Don't worry, there'll be a few tunes in there, too - have to lighten the mood somehow.
Ever wondered what happens when you get 3 professional musicians travelling in a van for long periods of time to a gig with nothing else to do? Well this is a bit of an insight into that… Some of the things we have discussed in the past have included "How many grains of sugar do you get when you ask for "one sugar"?" or "What if you woke up, and you were a duck in a Foie Gras factory?" Or simply "What is reality?". Join us for two hours of deep discussions, or two hours of nonsense. You decide. ***PLEASE NOTE*** Some topics may be slightly contentious or sensitive, the views raised in this show are the views of the individuals, NOT URY, UoY or any other affiliated party. ***

The dynamic duo are back on the airwaves for another year to share with you their experiences and tales of life in the small apple. Shows will continue be a cocktail of light hearted humour and bad music choices.
The blue light of a phone in the dark
A shaggy dog story
Coming in from the cold for a second
A debate between dreams
Drinking a bottle of god knows what
A long and gleaming ribbon
with a ticket sewn on
Or a small ugly fly
with big pretty eyes
