Flogging a Dead Horse with Joseph Hook
I'm back! With the best selection of music on radio today - including gems that you had forgotten about, some that you never knew, and as many of your requests as I can fit in. Including an extraordinary line-up of exciting guests, and a plethora of enthralling features. It's going to be even better than Hooky's Whole Hour was last term! I know, I didn't think it was possible either.
The Children's Hour
If you don't like this song, wait for the next one. As eclectic as is possible. I'll be playing leftfield hip-hop, electronica, dubstep, acid, ragga, psych rock, genuine indie, lots of music from the currently burgeoning weird-folk scene, reggae, dub, world music and Tom Waits. I will also report back from the many gigs I attend with examples of what was played.

Evenings with Alec and David
Alec and David talk hoes (as in the rakes you use to plough earth)
The Kitty Chrisp Show

My show revolves around music and as little talking a possible. I will play anything from 60's classics to alternative new exciting bands which I feel are pretty damn jammy and should be more widely known. If you're someone always looking for new bands to become obsessed with, or just a silly procrastination dance around your room to some nostalgic beats, then choon in and I will just keep whapping them choons out.

Acoustics

Acoustics is back!

A comedic (hopefully) and disastrous (definitely) student radio show, created in the midst of exam season to let out some steam with live acoustic sessions from upcoming artists and curious questions leading to impossible debates.

Culture Club with Shannon and Davies

From the minds that brought you such York Vision collaborative articles as "Possible College Ten Names" and "The Most Annoying People in your Lectures", something vaguely resembling The South Bank Show, only with thankfully less Melvyn Bragg, and more jokes, and we don't really know what we're talking about.

Plastic People

A Vinyl-Only music show, filled with tracks from our personal collections and what we find crate-digging in the UoY vaults, with possible attempts at wit between songs.

Goodbye Term One

Its almost Christmas so expect a few cheesy Christmas songs appearing, but also some band music from The Courtneers and Artic Monkeys along with a few old classics. I will be talking about the good and bad things which have occured throughout term one (mainly good!), the highlights and lowlights, and also what people are looking forward to next term! (More nights out, drinking and hopefully some sun shine towards the end). Possible interview from two friends hearing their favourite parts of term one and hearing about if they have learnt anything this term which they will not be doing next term.. spending all your loan in the first few weeks for instance.

The Conti1ity Hour

Neave and Will, collegues in Film and Television try to spend the hour talking about anything but the course that they are doing. Tune in for a variety of music and ever-changing topics as they try to be as un-continuituos  as humanly possible.

Neave and Will (and Sam(and maybe Steve)) , collegues in Film and Television(or radio)  try to spend the hours talking about anything but the course that they are doing and failing miserably. URY Music: Strange

The music played on this show is usually experimental in at least one dimension (but is not confined to this fairly uninformative tag), and as much as possible travels to you from a record or from a tape.

Chatageddon

A friendly talk show about basically whatever is on my mind. Will feature a rotating cast of guest presenters and one-off interviewees from the world of "student politics". Likely topics are;

I'm not entirely sure as to what it would be fully, but I will plan every episode extensively. I wouldn't want it to be anymore than an hour. It migth be crap, but I would quite like to try something new. Possible music genres include;

Whatever takes the fancy really. I know this is a really wooly pitch, but would just like an outlet to explore a

I'm also really unsure on the title, so any suggestion would be welcome.
