URY:PM - Thane and Lucy (in for Steve)

Aloha! I hope this is the right bit for us to be doing that whole describing what happens in the show thing! It's me Lucy Walters here, and Emily Thane and I did this little show last year through the summer term and we realyl enjoyed it! It would be really great to be back behind the mics of URY, having had SUCH FUN last time. The show would continue on the "In for Steve" theme, with Steve regularly holed up in various locations across the globe. As well as discussing Steve's wherabouts, we would be including some new items and some old favourites:

Does what it says on the tin, it's my facebook news feed, read as if it's real news. It's a lot more entertaining than it sounds. 

People Who Look Like...

Last term we focused exclusively on people who look like my dad, the illustrious Mr Kevin Walters, however we are currently considering the option of changing which particular face we'll be comparing celebrities and BNOC's alike to this term, if our aplication is succesful.

Middle Aged Moment

I have recently discovered Strictly Come Dancing and the Great British Bakeoff. Need I say more? Well of course I will, because it's radio, you have to say things. 

Emily's Internet Phenomenon of the Week

Emily trawls the internet for the finest viral occurences, and we're not talking disease here, we're talking face swapping and Lana Del Rey memes, oh yeah baby, it get's meme going... (That was a pun that I'm not sure carries through in the text format)

EMILY AND LUCY'S ECLECTIC AND SOMETIMES BIZARRE MUSIC TASTE

We'll be featuring as many of our favourite tracks as possible, Come on Eileen sandwiched between Miley's latest hits and a little bit of westlife never hurt anyone.
