As the title suggests, these are the features from our first show of the season. Seven little lives in one big city. Devised by Frantic Assembly and written by Isabel Wright, Peepshow gets under the brickwork of life in a tower block as two friends, four lovers and one loner expose glimpses of their urban lives to an audience of voyeurs. Can we really trust what we see through the windows or what we hear through the walls? Do we really know what goes on behind closed doors? In our preview of the production we speak to the cast and creative team behind what looks to be an exciting, engrossing and imaginative production unlike anything seen in the barn this year. The show runs from Friday to Sunday Week 2 and tickets are avaliable on the door and from 12-2 on Vanborough stalls Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

It’s now 2 years since the University of York chef Claudia Lawrence disappeared. On Friday her father, Peter Lawrence, returned to the Roger Kirk Centre where Claudia used to work. In an interview with ((URY)) News Peter Lawrence says that the government think “it’s not necessary” to provide more support to families of missing people. A decision which he calls "disgraceful. Claudia was last seen walking home from work on March 18th 2009. Police are treating the case as one of suspected murder. Listen to the full interview here.
