Hello! I'm Marks. My name ends with an S because it's Latvian - I'm from Latvia, as I will remind you at every opportunity I get.
I was at URY between 2019 and 2024 in various roles - Head of Computing (over lockdown - that was fun...), a brief stint as OB Coordinator, and two stints as Training Coordinator. Not to mention spending far too much time doing terrible radio - scroll down a bit for some of that.
Safe to say that joining URY was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I learned so much, got several jobs through that experience, met people that I'm still friends with to this day, and had so so much fun.
