Hi, I'm Jacob. I'm a former Assistant Chief Engineer and Assistant Station Manager here at URY who graduated in 2020.
Whilst I'm now an alumnus, I used to do a load of shows, including The Time Machine, Fake News, Have I Got Ouse For You and URY Music: The Long Song Show. I also used to make guest appearances on a wide variety of other programmes, including one off specials and outside broadcasts. You can listen back to these on tap, occasionally, I might even do an alumni comeback show once or twice, who knows.
I have a stupidly wide variety of interests, some of which you might have heard on air between all the hesitation, deviation and repetition. Aside from URY, I used to do a load of stuff, including tech for YSTV, Tech Theatre, YUSU and Vanbrugh college, and I now work as a Sound Engineer in London.
Joining URY was quite honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made, and it could easily be for you too.
