On 16th of June 1975, a member of URY (whose name will be spared from the public record) was caught with his pants down (quite literally) in the Physics building. This led to a rather upset letter from a member of the Physics Department being mailed to the Station Director:
On Monday 16th June at 4.45 p.m. one of your members was observed by two members of the Physics Department urinating against the wall of the research laboratory in full view of a corridor, three offices and two laboratories. When spoken to in the U.R.Y. studio the student, a (REDACTED), failed to explain to my satisfaction why he had acted in a manner which was offensive to the two members of the academic staff. In view of the good relations which have existed over the past year between the Physics department and U.R.Y. I trust that you will make sure that such offensive acts cease forthwith otherwise action could be taken against U.R.Y.
The station meeting of the following day contained the following:
The Physics Department have protested against the offensive behaviour of Mr. X who wetted both the wall and the complaints of the laboratories staff.
Stay classy, URY.
