What is the Sports team?

The Sports team are in charge of all of the, well, sports-related programming on URY! Whether it is university, local, or international, this team is your source of news and discussion for everything sporty.

In addition, the Sports team coordinate coverage of sporting events on campus - so if you want to be a commentator, and build links with local sports clubs, then this the team for you.

When is the Sports team active?

The Sports team are often active throughout the week, with many shows under their remit! In the 23/24 academic year, this includes The York Formula for motorsport news, a guaranteed slot on Newshour on Thursdays at 7pm, and their flagship show: College Sport Catch-up, every Wednesday at 2pm! Here, the Sports team discuss everything uni-sport related.
