<p>9314: What we do:</p> <hr /> <div>The Music Team at URY has its hands in a lot of pies. With a blog dedicated to music journalism and opinion pieces, weekly live sessions by local and touring musicians, specialty shows with emphasis on genre, and a 13,000 large vinyl collection, there's something for everyone who wants to be a part of something musical. Umbrella shows, which provide an opportunity to DJ on a themed show without having to commit to a full time slot, are unique to the music team, as are our live events such as The Vault, a vinyl and live performance show once a term. The Music Team exists outside of the confines of just presenting a show, and works hard to keep music within the station a thriving, living organism that can grow as the musical atmosphere at the university grows. It's the place for musicians, vinyl enthusiasts, live music fans, or any student who wants to engage in the larger music culture surrounding URY.</div>
