== Who are the Production team? ==

The Production team work with both events and regular programming to develop shows, coordinate special occasions e.g Outside Broadcasts (i.e when we're not broadcasting from the studio), and overall ensure that URY broadcasting is of the highest quality possible. Whilst producers aren't always directly in front of a microphone, they work hard to ensure that those who want to be on air, well, ''can'' be on air and have what they need to do so!

== Why should I join the team? ==

Simply put, this is the team for you if you like being behind the scenes, working to create content that is broadcast to the entire campus. Also, if you like special events, this team is definitely the one for you!

== How can I get involved? ==

Production Meetings occur every Monday at 8pm in V/N/123, right after Station Meetings! Feel free to simply turn up, and share your ideas! If you're a presenter, and - for example - want to pitch a new show to do with someone else, these meetings are the perfect occasion to find fellow enthusiasts!

Simply put, the News team are responsible for all of the news-related output. Focusing on local and campus news, the News team are your go-to people for reporting on current affairs and happenings around York. News members often venture into and beyond campus, collecting interviews and reporting back on their findings. From marathons to the York Dungeons to Long Boi investigations, the News team is there to investigate and report back.

The flagship URY Newshour is every Tuesday at 6pm, but preparation and interviewing happens all week and year round! They share this hour with the Sport team, who have a small segment to supplement their own show.

Needless to say, if there is an event, a News member is probably there!

==Jingle==
The jingle is a bastardised version of the Vinyl Revival jingle, a vinyl show that was run by Harvey Mellor and Tolan Enderby. The jingle claims to be "URY's premier vinyl show", and so Sunny and Lottie 'borrowed' (stole) the jingle, as Seven Inches Deep was the only vinyl show on the schedule, hence being the best. Plus, it's funny to pinch Harvey and Tolan's jingle. In the Seven Inches Deep jingle, Sunny and Lottie's voices are dubbed over the original Vinyl Revival-specific aspects of the jingle, shouting their names and the name of the show.
